Diana Ryall is a renowned business leader and a corporate talent. All her accomplishments point to one thing – grabbing every opportunity that comes her way.
Today’s guest is a vocal advocate of gender equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace. She was the Managing Director of Apple Australia and is a Member of the Order of Australia (AM). She established and managed her own company (Xplore for Success) where she has worked with more than 15,000 women on issues related to resilience and leadership, Meet Diana Ryall.
Diana Ryall has worn many hats, developed different skills and fulfilled a variety of roles. She hopes and works to make Australia, and the world for that matter, an equal and inclusive place to live in.
Diana is a graduate of Bachelor of Science at Sydney University. She has a background in mathematics, statistics, education, computer sciences, marketing, sales and business development. Now, she owns a successful company and is working alongside corporate giants to educate and support Australia’s workforce.
Growing up, Diana had a very strong relationship with his father, who was a university lecturer and a strong pacifist. He taught Diana that things weren’t beyond her that and that everything is possible.
Constantly accepting job offers – which she knew nothing about nor have a background of – led Diana to some of her greatest accomplishments. These include quickly climbing the ranks of Apple Australia to be its managing director.
Diana too had her share of challenges and difficulties in the corporate setting. But great leaders wear big hats and so does Diana. Currently, she is involved in a number of initiatives that are centred on inclusion, equality of rights – not only for women but also for people of different heritages.
